Fun with llamas 0Llamas are sure-footed, well adapted to high altitudes and mountainous terrain, with minimal impact on fragile trails. Our llamas carry all food, tents, sleeping bags, clothing and other equipment we need on our pack trips. On our day hikes, they carry picnics, tables and chairs. Anyone, including small children, can lead a llama after a few minutes of basic instruction. Llamas are the safest large animals around little kids. And no – our llamas do NOT spit at people.  All llamas participating in our treks are owned, trained and cared for by us, year-round. Some have come from breeders, others were rescued from abuse and neglect and joined to become capable packers.

We look forward to introducing our friends, the Yellowstone Llamas, to you!
